Dear all
I need, (again :-) ), a bit of help. Could you point me to which of the traces from the website are bi-directional?
I would like to run some TCP analysis and I end up stuck because at least the ones that I downloaded are uni-directional. I read the note from the traces directory:
-------
[...]
Interface:
If the interface is a number, it reflects an ATM interface as the OC3mon
sees it, and usually reflective of one traffic direction. If the key
is FDDI, the data was collected on an FDDI ring. One trace file
includes "FDDI-Samp," where some sampling technology was employed
during the collection, but I don't recall the details. If the key
is Ether, the trace was collected on an Ethernet
[...]
--------
but the only traces I managed to find were either including an interface number, or had just a timestamp (the other notation).
Maybe I missed some of the files, or didn't search properly through the directories, but, anyway, the result is that I couldn't find any bi-directional traces.
So, I would be grateful if you can point me to any such traces within nlanr site.
Best regards
Bogdan Ghita
